thought for today
The establishment of the modern state of Israel may or may not be a partial fulfilment of Jeremiah's words. But we are a long long way off the time when the nations honour the Lord's name and do not follow the promptings of their own heart. Wherever God's light shines our weaknesses are exposed. In response we ask God for more goodness, righteousness, and truth in our own lives and among the nations of the world.
